This company means well, Joshua, my rep was great. But after many hours of planning, adding additional work, for my insulation project, the day came for the project, just for it to be stopped, citing safety concerns about active mice in my attic. I understand protecting employees and I never want anyone to be bitten or harmed, but I made many communications known that I had an active situation going on and I have pest control doing what they can to resolve it, but it takes time. I made personal efforts to seal up my home to further resolve getting mice out of my attic. I feel that better and clear communication could have avoided wasting valuable time that if I known any active pests (2 live mice) would permanently stop the project. I appreciate the efforts made to continue the project, but proper PPE equipment can prevent safety concerns and overall better communication would haves saved valuable time. I chose to cancel instead of wait to reschedule when I can’t provide a guarantee of no active pests .

This company is worth all the money to deal with. They are honest and came back out to fix areas that were missed the first time and add insulation to the area that had to little from the first time. We have noticed a difference in the house keeping cool especially during the 3-6 period for electricity use. We raise our temp during that time and the house may go up a few degrees but rare it reaches the set higher degree.

After a pre-buy home inspection report, I called Carolina Energy Conservation to investigate further potential issues in the crawlspace. Joel Libby performed the inspection and was absolutely amazing. Despite the fact that the crawlspace area was not in the best of shape, he was very thorough with pictures all throughout, used a moisture meter in troubled areas, and found significant issues that the paid home inspector did not. He gave me the facts that anyone could logically understand and even sent me information sheet explanations of potential crawlspace issues. He proved his worth and earned a solid trust in his knowledge and expertise.
Joel did such a great job. He sets the bar to compare others. I am sure the company has many great people working there, but I will be requesting Joel. That said, he was so good, that I told him I would pay for his inspection and estimate time as he saved me thousands of dollars of headaches that I would not have known of before buying the home if it wasn't for him. But, he declined and reiterated that they perform free estimates. Well, they have solidified a future customer. Thank you again to Joel and Carolina Energy Conservation.

Wonderful job, Alex, Landon and Nick today! They finished a great two day job that went very smoothly, were communicative, and even showed us what the work looked like post installation. The work looks a new house! It was very humid and hot and they performed it so well and coordinated the workflow amongst themselves - it was great to see! Thank you so much for the hard-work and quality job! Our household highly recommends them!

My experience with Carolina Energy Conservation could not have gone any better! From start to finish, everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, professional, and communicated well. Alex, Nick, and Landon were my installers, and they knew their stuff. How refreshing to see young men be so courteous, respectful, prompt, and clean up after themselves! I had 2 SolaTubes installed. The technician was on time, courteous, professional, and informative. His work was focused, and he cleaned up after himself. They look beautiful and are working well.

Old fiberglass insulation was removed from under the floors in our crawl space; then a closed cell foam insulation was applied. We were VERY impressed with the positive attitude displayed by all the staff. Everyone at our home & in the office treated us like family. All details of the project were explained in detail before & during the process. A plumbing leak delayed completion of the project but as soon as repairs were made & the area was dry a technician was promptly sent to complete the job! Thanks for a job well done!!

We love our solar tubes - all 3 of them. We cannot say enough good things about this company - Kevin and his team were wonderful, work was done beautifully , no mess, no leaks - just beautiful natural light - we actually never put our lights on unless its super cloudy and the night lights on them is just an added bonus. Wonderful work by a great company. Couldn’t be happier. Great job guys ! Thank you.

Many thanks to Jeff and his team for installing solar tubes, a solar attic fan and attic insulation. The difference in light level from the solar tubes is fantastic, across all the rooms. It’s also great to know it’s a passive system so no running costs. The team that handled the sealing and adding the new insulation worked really hard in a pretty cramped attic and have left me with a very thick layer of insulation. I’m looking forward to seeing the difference on my utility bills.

WONDERFUL experience with this company. From the consultation, to the booking, to the install, everyone was incredibly professional, thorough, and polite. We had five solatubes installed and could not be happier with the result! Best part? They informed us that about half of the cost could be claimed for a tax refund, and gave us all the info we will need to claim that! Would 100% recommend!
